Juulia Ojasalo is a visual artist who loves to explore different techniques and derives inspiration from the beauty and wonder of surrounding world. She aspires to tell stories through her art, stories that touch and resonate with the viewer, bringing forth hope and light.

She is calling us to direct our eyes to see what can oftentimes be missed. Using different techniques she creates art that touches and delights, creating an atmosphere that is both light and deep.

Exploring different approaches from careful detailed brushwork to bolder strokes with thick layers of paint open up windows to a world that invites to stop and appreciate the allure and beauty around us. Juulia covers a variety of themes in her work, such as wonder, faith, hope and God. She wishes to create work that reminds us about the meaningful matters in life, reflecting her own experiences and ponderings. How we all are fearfully and wonderfully made with a purpose, here to love and be loved, in our brokenness and fragility.
